Ben Hill County Schools has a new mobile app. Download it today!

Our new mobile app includes news, calendars, important links, and more so you can stay in the know while on the go. Parents and guardians can have real-time chats with teachers, coaches, and administrators directly in the app.

How to download the app
Search “Ben Hill County Schools” in the App Store or Google Play and download the app. It’s that simple!

How to access parent-teacher chat
Chat is accessible right in our mobile app! Simply login* and tap “Chats” on the bottom menu. To access chat from your desktop device, navigate to ben-hill.k12.ga.us/fs/chat and login.

How to log in to the BHCS APP


Step 1: From your cell phone’s app store, search “Ben Hill County Schools”.
Step 2: Download the BHCS app (the icon will be our District logo, on a white background).
Step 3: Open the app.


Step 4: (Students Only) - Type in your student email, when prompted, scroll down and select “Continue with Google”, use your school Gmail password to complete signin, continue to step 6.

Step 4: Parents/Guardians - Type in your username - this is your personal email address you provided when you completed your student’s registration. If you are unsure which email address you used, you may contact app.support@benhillschools.org for verification. Click next.

Step 5: Select “forgot password” to reset your password. This will prompt you to re-enter your email address to send a forgot password link. Follow the prompts to reset your password and enter your new password in the app once completed. (Resets can also be performed from ben-hill.k12.ga.us/fs/chat if you would prefer to do this from a computer.)
Step 6: Once logged in, select your preferred language.
Step 7: Select Ben Hill County Schools and any school you would like to receive news and updates from.
Step 8: Click “Allow Notifications”, and if prompted again, select “allow”.

Ben Hill County Schools is proud to announce a partnership with Parent ProTech. Starting in the 2025 - 2026 school year, all K-12 students will receive digital citizenship lessons and activities. In addition, parents will have free access to Parent ProTech comprehensive videos and resources to guide families through trends and parental controls.

What is Parent ProTech?

Think of it as your one-stop shop for all things online safety. From resources on social media and gaming to anti-bullying tips, Parent ProTech has resources you need to keep your child safe online and to help them build a healthy relationship with technology.
